Can you wear aligners if you have gum disease?

Gum disease and aligners

Yes, if you suffer from gingivitis or gum inflammation, in theory, you can carry out an aligner treatment.

We advise that you visit your regular dentist first to assess your treatment plan to resolve the gum disease. Once you have a treatment plan in place and your doctor has completed an oral check-up, they will decide whether you are suitable to start treatment with us.
